There is no “right” way to be autistic.
Let's face it, the initial research was done on little boys back when we were kids (80s & 90s). Now that science is catching up, more women (and female identifying persons) are being diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum (autistic) in their 20s, 30s, and even 40s. If you happen to be one of these women, this group is for you!
We will meet virtually every-other week on HIPAA compliant Zoom to discuss and hold space for one another in exploring this new part of our identity.
This is a safe space for women and female identifying persons diagnosed ASD/AuDHD after the age of 20.
Support group basics:
this is not a replacement for psychotherapy, coaching, occupational therapy, etc.
groups will be held every-other week (biweekly) for 8-week cycles
each group is 90-minutes, with time for welcome and connecting (total time block is 2-hours)
groups will be limited to 4-6 participants per cycle
support groups are shared spaces where all persons are welcome to contribute to discussion, activities, and will led by a facilitator (me)
Other logistics:
all participants must be pre-screened to participate in the group
group cost is $50 each meeting, or $350 per 8-session cycle (when paid in advance)
no one will be turned away for financial hardship (please use the Contact Me form at the bottom of this page to discuss options)
